Name: Heidy
Age: 10 months
Sex: Female
Previous Life: Owner Surrender
Weight: 17.8 lbs
Altered: Yes
Housebroken: She’s going great outside even with the extreme amount of snow we’ve had recently. Has not used pads.
Good with dogs/cats/kids: Other dogs must be submissive/Unknown/older kids preferred as she does get nippy during play and her foster is working with her on that.
Likes: Heidy loves anything that will work her teeth and that can be chewed. She also enjoys walking, playing in the yard, and has enjoyed short bursts in the snow.
Dislikes: None
Crate trained: Yes
Fenced yard required: Yes
Special Needs/Notes: Would do best with another dog in the home that is not dominant as she prefers to rule the roost. Will need to be fed separately.

UPDATE: Heidy is such a joy. She plays hard and rests hard! She LOVES the outdoors. Whether it’s just sniffing all the smells, rolling in the grass, chasing her ball around, chasing the squirrels, or talking to the neighbor dogs, she’s all in for it. Given her puppy energy level, she loves to take a daily walk. Heidy’s had some great improvement in the last few weeks with some of her bad habits. She’s playing more gently, although she still needs reminders occasionally, she’s attending a doggy daycare once a week that allows her to run off ALOT of her energy. They say she’s been doing great with the pack, playing and running. Heidy still will need a family that can help her to work off all of that puppy energy and continue to teach her the rules, but she’s anxious to please and has learned so much in the last few weeks.

Heidy is a sweet and loving young pup. She loves to cuddle, play, and interact with you at every move. Heidy has a lot of energy as all puppies do and she will need a loving family that can help her work that energy off through walks, running, and playing. She loves playing fetch with tennis balls and chewing on things. So she’ll need a family that can work with her on what she is allowed to chew on and what she shouldn’t She’s very inquisitive so she’ll need a family that can teach here where she is and isn’t allowed to be. Heidy may have a sensitive stomach issue, so it will be imperative she’s kept on an approved feeding program. Heidy is kennel trained and has been doing great at sleeping through the night. Heidi loves to snuggle and give kisses. Heidy is a wonderful pug that will make a fantastic companion to a family that is willing to spend the time to help her grow and learn what’s right or wrong. She’s very smart and can learn with consistent care. She will give you so much love and deserves to find a loving family of her own.
